Thor adapts an Insurance claims system to save company over several million dollars over the course of the Project. 

A major insurance company had been using a forty-year-old claims system that was not connected to their legacy system to organize and process all of its claims. None of their major systems were integrated. Claims representatives were not directly communicating to vendors. It was a paper intensive system that took enormous amounts of time and manpower to process and pay claims.

Using our in-depth consultative approach to identify business challenges and recommend matching business solutions, Thor created a plan to address the challenges facing the business due to the old system. Thor created a team to replace the old claims system with a client server architecture. They were able to integrate this system into the legacy system. Thor integrated business-to-business communication and automated requests to vendors within the claims call centers. The paper intensive process was replaced by an electronic storage and sharing system that stored and organized all records into an electronic centralized repository.
